‘Tunde Ope-Davies is Professor of Digital Cultures, Digital Humanities & Discourse Studies at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He earned all his academic degrees: B.A. Hons, M.A. and PhD, at the University of Lagos. He was university of Lagos scholar and Lever Brothers Plc awardee. He has been Commonwealth Fellow at the University of Westminster, London, and visiting researcher at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland; visiting professor, University of Technology, Chemnitz, and University of Hamburg both in Germany. He is a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany and a grantee of the Volkswagen Foundation, Germany, and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Nigeria.
Professor Tunde Ope-Davies has served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, as well as, Senior Special Assistant and Private Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Lagos State. He is a 2-term member of the Governing Council of Anchor University, Lagos, and former Dean, Faculty of Humanities of the same university. He belongs to numerous professional associations. He has presented papers at different conferences in different parts of the world. He is the founder and director of the Centre for Digital Humanities, University of Lagos, and the convener of the Lagos Summer School in Digital Humanities (LSSDH).
He is a researcher and scholar of international repute. He is the president of the Digital Humanities Association of Nigeria, and member of the Nigerian Academy of Letters. He is the Chief Consultant and Chair of Skygems Hybrid Academy and Skygems Nigeria Ltd.
Mrs Rosemary Esther Idowu Ope-Davies (Opeibi) has devoted her life and talents to the career of coaching and mentoring. A graduate of Accounting and worked as non-commissioned officer of the Nigerian Navy in the Administration and Accounting sections in several Naval formations before her voluntary retirement in 2002. She has attended a number of leadership and language training programmes overseas including the University of Oxford Brookes, United Kingdom and Goethe Institute, Dresden, Germany. She has been involved in auditing and private business since her retirement.
Significantly, she has developed increased passion for counselling, teaching, training of young people with the ultimate goal of raising a new generation of future leaders who are passionate about pursuing all-round excellence.
She is currently the CEO/MD of Skygems Hybrid Academy and Skygems Nigeria Ltd, an edutech organisation providing a range of services for students, schools and individuals willing to develop their skills and capacity for excellent performance in academic and professional endeavours.
Michael Obayelu is North-South International Partner at Skygems Hybrid Academy, Lagos, Nigeria. He lives in Vienna Austria from where he handles International admissions and student integration services. He graduated from the University of Lagos. He was admitted at University of Vienna , PhD Development studies in 2018.
